Moomba Looks to Double the Excitement at Worlds

RENO, Nev. — Moomba is looking to double all the fun and excitement that surround the Rockstar WWA Wakeboard World Championships, presented by Supra, with the Moomba and Pacific Coast Marine Windshields Pro-Am Double Up contest, held at Sparks Marina at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007.

This entertaining pro-am event will feature eight teams, each comprised of a pro rider and one amateur boy rider, launching off massive Moomba wakes. Bragging rights and $5,000 are up for grabs, so expect to see some killer performances from these talented shredders. In addition, Moomba is offering any rider who lands a 1080 an additional $1,080, so expect to see these riders going huge.

The pro riders competing at this event will include: Trevor Hansen, Josh Sanders, Ben Greenwood, Austin Hair, Rusty Malinoski, Phillip Soven, Chad Sharpe and Danny Harf.

The amateur boys’ side will feature: Jacob Valdez, Daniel Powers, Cooper Swink, Michael Dowdy, Cale Middleton, Braxton Tomlinson, Chad Payton and Evan Dean.
