Wowing the judges with the highest score on the slope, Eric Beauchemin of Grand Blanc, Mich. earned a final top score of 85.83 in the men’s snowboard slopestyle Last Chance Qualifiers. Rangeley, Maine’s Alexander Rodway followed behind in second with a 78.83 and Jake Black of Breckenridge, Colo. secured his spot in tomorrow’s prelims by placing third with a 76.67.
The top five finishers from today’s LCQs will advance to tomorrow’s prelims.
