The first contest of the Nike 6.0 BMX Open is in the books.

But the story of the day was BMX dirt newcomer Brett Banasiewicz, who took 10th in the open qualifiers. After making a name for himself as the youngest rider on the park course for the 2009 Dew Tour, Banasiewicz added dirt to his resume for the 2010 season.

1. Andy Buckworth, 84.13
2. Jaie Toohey, 83.88
3. Morgan Wade, 83.25
4. Gary Young, 82.38
