Bucky Lasek Airs Over Skate Vert Semi-Finals Competition

From wall to wall, the Skate Vert competition was stacked with skills as the heaviest of hitters rolled into the Pantech Beach Championship at Dew Tour.

Bucky Lasek came in hot off his second place Skate Bowl Semi-Final yesterday to take the top score in Skate Vert Semi-Final today. Lasek threw a 540 straight into a bonless to invert, a trick he invented only days ago. With tricks like that, Lasek earned an 87.00 in round one and was untouched by the guys in round two.

Although he did not steal the top spot, Sandro Dias worked his way into the number two spot during round two. With his signature 540 to gnar jar, Dias locked in a score of 82.75. Also scroing an 82.75, Mr. Consistency, Andy MacDonald knew he’d have to throw some crowd favorites. With a variety of 540s, including a nollie 540, MacDonald locked himself into a top spot in round one.
