Evan and Eric Geiselman Head Nike 6.0 Expression Sessions

The Dew Tour, the world’s premier season-long action sports tour, will host a tow-at surf session on Friday, July 22 during the Pantech Open. Evan Geiselman and Eric Geiselman are joined by Ocean City, Md.’s own Vince Boulanger for the Tour’s first-ever surf competition, taking place at 7:30pm on the shore of Ocean City, Md. The competition will be accompanied by a live concert by Green Label Sound artist Flosstradamus, who will spin throughout the contest.

17-year-old Evan Geiselman has earned his right in the top ranks of surf, using effortless yet powerful style to progress the sport – which he does by winning contests, taking 12 NSSA East Coast titles and clinching the Nike US Open of Surfing Junior Champion title in 2010. He spent the 2010 season leading a hotbed of talent through the contest circuit, with strong finishes at the Oakley Pro Junior and Nike 6.0 Unsound Pro that earned him the overall ASP North American Pro Junior Series Title.

Eric Geiselman, the older of the brothers, comes to the Dew Tour following a succession of top finishes in the past few years. This three-time ESA East Coast Champion and five-time NSAA East Coast Champion has racked over thirty first-place contest career wins. Recent success at the ASP O’Neill Cold Water Classic Canada, Rip Curl GromSearch Florida and 2011 Rob Machado Seaside Pro Junior Surf Contest top off a season following his October 2010 Transworld Surf magazine cover.

Setting the tone for an energetic night on the beach will be Chicago DJ duo Curt Camercui and Josh Young, uniting on-stage as Flosstradamus. Gaining popularity by mixing chart-topping hits with their signature dance beats, Flosstradamus, a Green Label Artist, turned into a quick favorite in Chicago dancehalls, but didn’t stop within the city limits. Having been included in 2006’s “Next 100” in URB Magazine, the duo has more recently performed at top musical events such as Coachella, Pitchfork, Lollapalooza and SXSW. The high-energy performance, tied with the free Friday night surf contest, will kick off the live music festivities for the weekend.

The Nike 6.0 Expression Session is being produced by industry staple Darren Brillhart and Brillo Productions. Brillo Productions oversees all levels of surf events, including ASP events, such as the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro, Rip Curl Pro Search and Hurley Shred Sticks Series.
