Support Brett Banasiewicz Through ARF Recovery Donations

Brett Banasiewicz, aka Mad Dog, is still on the mend and making progress every day – below is a video to prove it – but he still needs everyone’s help! There are a ton of ways to show your support and donate. The most direct way to donate is by visiting AthleteRecoveryFund.com (ARF) and clicking the donate button at the top of the page – until Nov. 9, all donations of $5 or more receive an entry in a raffle to win Drew Bezanson‘s BMX bike that he rode during the Toyota City Championships at the San Francisco stop of the Dew Tour and if you do multiple donations of $5 you are entered multiple times. You can also purchase t-shirts and all the proceeds become donations. Also, everyone can help spread the word by using social media tags such as @recoveryfund, #maddog and #dewtour. Below is a short statement from Aaron Cooke, the founder of ARF, as well as the most recent video update and a photo of all of Mad Dog’s friends that competed at Dew Tour showing their support with the #MADDOG t-shirts.

“Currently Brett is in a facility in Atlanta, GA that is rated as one of the top three in the nation for Traumatic Brain Injury (T.B.I.) rehabilitation. He is getting constant attention and care from the medical staff there who is using the best technology and medicine has to offer. This includes brain exercises, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Through what Athlete Recovery Fund (ARF) has learned with Hyperbaric care to other athlete’s in the past we have also enrolled him in a outpatient hyperbaric program that will assist the healing process. It’s great to see Brett continue to make progress towards a full recovery and ARF will be available to assist Brett and his family for the long haul.” – Aaron Cooke, Athlete Recovery Fund Founder
