Mirjam Jaeger was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland where she learned to ski and was always close to the best possible mountains. Although, she grew up skiing, Jaeger learned to snowboard when she was young and it quickly became her passion.
While balancing her academic studies, Jaeger was able to ski and snowboard. It wasn’t until late in her career that she put aside snowboarding and focused on just skiing.
Jaeger’s incredible list of wins includes second place at the 2011 Dew Tour in Breckenridge, CO, fifth at the 2012 FIS Worldcup and third at the 2013 FIS Worldcup.
Representing Switzerland, Jaeger placed 8th at the Olympic debut of freeski halfpipe.
