David Wise loves two things—skiing and his family. Growing up around Lake Tahoe, Wise got his start on skis at a young age. Originally, a racer, Wise was a terror during ski practice, always leaving the group to break into the terrain park and breaking expensive race skis on jumps. Finally, he was able to make the switch and has since racked up some big wins.
In 2012, he consecutively won the Winter X Games, Dew Tour, and The Grand Prix finals. In 2014, Wise won the first-ever gold in freeski halfpipe at the Olympics.
When he isn’t skiing, Wise is spending time with his biggest fans, his wife Alexandra and his daughter Nayeli. In the summer, he spends time on the beaches of Tahoe or out on his mountain bike.
